A total of 75 plays and dances by teams of directors and stage artists from home and abroad will light up the calendar of this year's Aranya Theater Festival. The festival will make a comeback from June 16 to 26 in Aranya, a sea resort and cultural compound facing the Bohai Sea in North China's Hebei province.
With the theme of "A Moment & Forever", the festival aims to bring audiences dreams, adventure, passion and timeless immersion.Well-known figures in the theatre arts world, including directors Meng Jinghui and Chen Minghao, and actress Zhang Ziyi, are this year's artistic directors.
