The design on the fingertips can be understood as the design of how the hand interacts with the product. This interaction method is based on the intimate contact between users and products, covering a variety of product carriers. Product design from fingertips includes button design, innovative design of usage, gesture recognition design, wearable design, etc.
01
Nimble Cutter
Nimble's silicone caps are conveniently shaped to fit comfortably on any finger. A small blade on the tip lets you simply slide it across the surface you want to cut, be it paper, tape, plastic wrap, etc. The blade is small enough to cut through the pack, but doesn't actually cut the skin. We do something on touchscreens almost every day and are used to swiping on items, and Nimble is all about turning that natural gesture into a useful design that allows you to ditch those harmful box cutters and deadly knives!
02
Breathe
According to figures shared by the Professional Footballers' Association, a large number of players are now seeking help with mental health issues ranging from performance, play to acceptance. With no existing products that directly address mental health issues, Breathe is a device specifically designed to help football players prevent anxiety.
The bottom of the oval-shaped plastic body features a soft foam material that mimics acupressure techniques. The entire device acts as a solution to help users stay calm and relaxed before and after the game, improving the overall performance of the player.
Inspired by Nike's design language and branding, Breathe also calms users by delivering positive messages and storing mint gum in its cavity. The kit uses stimuli such as texture, sensation, touch and feedback to reduce anxiety and stress and keep players focused. The Breathe is ergonomic and comes with a non-slip strap so football players can use it while practicing and it's easier to store when not in use!
